NEW BENEFITS AND SERVICES for NCFP Friends of the Family (July 2011 FGN)

Members of the National Center’s Friends of the Family program have exclusive access to a variety of exclusive services, and we are pleased to announce two new benefits for this leadership network: access to Ask the Expert briefings and participation in the Family Member CEO Group:

  • The Ask the Expert service allows the board or staff of any foundation or fund that is a member of our Friend of the Family program the opportunity to receive a personal presentation and Q & A with National Center President Virginia Esposito (as well as selected NCFP Board members) via phone or video conference – without the need to pay for multiple days of consulting costs, including travel time and expenses.
  • The Family Member CEO Group is open only to individuals who serve in the dual role of family foundation CEO and family member. This new network will kick off in the Fall of 2011 with the first-ever Family CEO Retreat, to be held at the Taaffe House, long-time home of David and Lucile Packard in Los Altos, California on December 5th and 6th. Additional networking opportunities going forward will include a private, members only discussion blog and periodic networking and peer-led conference calls for those in this group.

Ask the Expert and the Family Member CEO Group are exclusive benefits for our Friends of the Family members. For current Friends interested in details on attending the Family CEO Retreat or special pricing for an “Ask the Expert” briefing, please contact Maureen Esposito at 202.293.3424 or maureen@ncfp.org. If you are not currently a Friend of the Family and would like additional information about these services, please contact Michael Goodman at 202.293.324 or michael@ncfp.org.
